How did you relax over the 2016 holiday season, or did you have the attitude that money never rests or sleeps so you continued chasing after wealth instead of taking a much needed break? Everyone has a need to take time out and relax to recharge the batteries and also give your body a rest from the bombardments of stress.
It’s no secret that in today’s fast paced lifestyles we all never have enough time for ourselves often bemoaning the fact that we need take time out to relax. Wealthy people complain that their wealth gobbles up all their time because it needs to be managed while others want to have more money so they chase after it all the time living fast paced lives and suffering stress from high powered careers in a quest to earn more, get higher positions and be someone powerful. When do you get time out to relax then?

Money does not bring happiness if you let it rule your life to become an all encompassing desire and a constant chase after wealth. It can certainly make life better by having more money but where do you draw the line. You need a proper balance to take time out to relax when you need it for your health and well being. There is a time to work and a time to play and the saying ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull Boy’ is true in every sense of the words. When you achieve your goals you may experience a brief period of happiness but instead of taking time out to relax and enjoy the success you move on to the next goal chasing after that with no respite.

Stress is a killer in today’s society and you need to find outlets for it otherwise suffer serious consequences or even death. You need take time out to relax as often as possible and you will find numerous guidelines on how to relieve stress and anxiety to help you live better. You are the enemy of your own happiness, and freedom, the enemy of enjoying a happy life with your family all because of the constant chase for wealth or the constant search on what will make you happy.
Certainly as mentioned above money is indeed one of those factors to help you live a more comfortable life but create a balance to enjoy what you earn when you achieve each goal you have set for you. Many people need money to be able to pay for life’s necessities like food and shelter and you are fortunate if you are in a job you love that provides enough for you to do just that. In this case perhaps there is something else you desire if you are not happy and that can be because you do not take time out to relax?
In fact when you take time out to relax and reflect on what you have, what you want to achieve and stop thinking about money all the time you start creating inner peace and harmony. Money does not equal happiness if you are chasing it all the time and when you get it want more, and more of the same because then true happiness is harder to reach if it is possible to reach it at all.
